A little #throwback

I was browsing my tagged photos on Facebook and I stumbled upon this picture my friend took of me a while back when we were wandering the streets of Haight-Ashbury, SF. There is a lot of beautiful graffiti on Haight, but on that day, for some odd reason this is what stood out.

American Apparel Disco Pants Dupe

It truly is a great feeling when you find a dupe to an item that is way over your budget. I recently stumbled upon a perfect dupe to the well-known Disco Pants from American Apparel. Funny thing is that I was only at the mall that day to return some unwanted clothes at H&M. I was in no mood to shop. Luckily, I dropped my phone because if I hadn't, I wouldn't have seen these perfectly shiny charcoal pants. I gotta admit, I kinda freaked out when I saw it, especially after seeing the price. IT WAS $34!! Almost over half the price of an AA disco pants! I knew right then that I could not let this go. Here's the catch though, it only comes in the charcoal color. I totally didn't mind since it's still easy to match things with charcoal. Although black would have been perfect, especially since I'm still in the "black pants everyday" phase.

From my experice with these H&M pants, right away I could tell they're thinner than the AA pants. The material and quality is still good and durable though but it's not as thick. It also doesn't hold your body as tight. By the end of the day it sort of felt like it stretched a little
. Unless I just lost weight that fast. Haha.

I honestly didn't expect it to be the exact same feel and material as the ones from AA, but for $34 these H&M dupe is definitely worth the buy.
